Morgan Evans
A professional player coach, Morgan Evans is a pickleball pioneer. In 2017, he became the first Professional Tour Pickleball Coach in history, working with elite players like Tyson McGuffin and Simone Jardim.
As a commentator for the game's premier tour, the PPA, Morgan was the analyst for Pickleball’s network television debut in 2022 on CBS.
Morgan doesn't just coach, he practices what he preaches; he became a pro player in 2016 and has been a top doubles player ever since. Evans was the inventor of the spin serve that later became popularized by Zane Navratil before becoming illegal in 2023.
He continues to play a crucial role in growing pickleball into what it is today, serving on the competition committee for Major League Pickleball, as well as the GM and Coach of the Arizona Drive.
Morgan specializes in private lessons, where he can take a shot that you're struggling with, break it down to its fundamental parts, and rebuild it from a weakness of your game to a strength.

Hannah Nussbaum
Before coming to pickleball, Hannah played college basketball at Franklin & Marshall. She's now a PPR Certified Coach who plays on the professional pickleball tour (APP + PPA).
Hannah was the 2023 5.0 champion at the 2021 APP Hilton Head Open and has won over 25 medals at the open level.
Hannah loves giving 3 on 1 lessons where she can give feedback during live gameplay, and 1 on 1 lessons that focus on technique and strategy.

Steve Henricks
Steve is a PPR-certified teaching pro who has been playing pickleball for 6 years. He has played several pro events and had a deep run in the 35+ open category at the 2019 US Open Championships, finishing in the top 5.
Steve loves giving 1:1 and 2:1 lessons, where he can give focused attention and maximize touches, especially in drilling games. Steve is also great at singles lessons for those who want to improve in that version of the game.

Steve, a musician, really loves the creativity that pickleball allows for, as well as the people he's able to meet through the game.

Sue Hughes
Sue holds a MSEd in Counseling. She is also a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Nutritional Consultant and a Mental Performance Coach for women in midlife for the past 14 years, all skills she brings to her lessons and clinics.
Sue is a former D1 tennis coach and player at Old Dominion University who abandoned tennis for pickleball about 7 years ago. Since then she has competed in Senior Pro singles and mixed doubles events up and down the East Coast.
Sue teaches lessons for all groups and group sizes, and really likes the structure and commitment of multiple-week programs for continuity and with focus on the player's desired growth and outcome.
Her lessons and clinics focus on mental performance simultaneous with physical and strategic skills. Her passion is helping players overcome mental blocks and limiting beliefs so that they can play to their full potential in pickleball and in life.

Roger Mosteller
Roger is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who was an All-American tennis player at TCNJ. There, he finished 7th in the country in Division III men’s doubles.
In pickleball, he won a silver medal at the 2020 New York Open in men's pro doubles. He has won several other medals at major pro tournaments including the Atlantic City Open and the Gamma Classic.
Roger is an IPTPA certified instructor.
"I love seeing the change in the players games from when we watch them play in the beginning to when they learn the different skills and put it to use at the end of the clinic. They look like different players in such a short amount of time at the end of the clinic. I love to show all my lessons the higher level strategy that they will see as they get to the 4.0 plus levels. Since I’ve been through it myself I know what it takes to adapt to each level."

Joel Phillips
Joel has played as high as the professional level for the past 3 years and has been teaching and giving lessons part time for the past 2 years. Joel has been playing for 7 years and was an early adopter in the area when it comes to pickleball as there was only a few sporadic "clubs" around when I started. He was a 2023 New York Open Champion at the 5.0 Level.

Joel loves working with all level of players, and is especially excited to help intermediate and advanced players climb the competitive ladder. He loves working in live games to adjust strategy and technique in real time.

Joel's favorite thing about pickleball is the people. "We are a growing group of amazing humans that come together to play the greatest game around!"

Gary Hughes
Following a career in technical sales and marketing, Gary became a certified PPR pickleball coach and joined the Bounce team as a clinician and generalist working to enhance the pickleball experience.
Gary's favorite part of teaching the sport is that it is very rewarding helping other people get the most out of the great game of pickleball.
Gary's instruction has a primary focus on Beginner and Advanced Beginner skill level for groups or individuals. Clinics are geared toward overall skill improvement and game knowledge. His students receive serious pickleball instruction taught in a fun, relaxed environment.

Whether playing competitively or socially, Gary's focus is on FUN!

Clinician/Event Coordinator
Jen Wang
Jen has been a PPR Certified Instructor since 2021 and is an APP Senior Pro Tour competitor. She started playing pickleball in 2017 and progressed through the ranks quickly, winning medals at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 levels. She has played at both Nationals and the US Open Pickleball Championships. She was proudly selected and played at the APP Champions Cup at 2023 NYC Open on TEAM EAST along other 36 top Senior pros in the country, beating TEAM WEST!
Jen is also a member of the Pickleball Therapist community. She is passionate about spreading the love of pickleball to others! She is committed to helping others improve their mental and physical game while ensuring a fun experience!
Jen loves lessons of all types and works with mostly beginner, intermediate, and advanced-intermediate players.
Jen's favorite part about pickleball is FUN, FITNESS, and FRIENDSHIP!

Ashwin Korde
Ashwin is a PPR Level 1 Certified Coach. Ashwin has as much tournament experience as anyone playing in all types of tournament formats (round robin, bracket, MLP) and all events (singles, gender doubles, mixed doubles). With over 350 tournament matches played, he's great at helping people get ready for their tournaments.
Ashwin loves teaching intermediate level players, helping 3.0s and 3.5s affirm their status as 4.0s.
Ashwin's favorite part about pickleball is yhe ability to meet wonderful people and make friends in a very competitive environment.

Jennifer Land
Jennifer is a PPR Certified Instructor who has been playing for 2.5 years. She has experience includes running leagues, clinics, lessons, tournaments, social events, corporate events, and speaking at wellness events, and has developed a great system to bring new players into the game.

Jennifer works primarily with beginners and advanced beginners on learning the basics and honing specific skills to give them more confidence in open play.

Lead Youth Instructor
Brady Kramer
A former professional hockey player, Brady brings his energy and passion for sports to Bounce working primarily with our expanding youth programs.
​
Brady was raised in Bryn Mawr, PA and attended The Haverford School. A lifelong educator, he has been directing athletics, teaching physical education, and coaching children of all ages for 25 years. Brady currently teaches Preschool-5th Grade Physical Education and Middle School Health at Upland Country Day School.
After being introduced to pickleball 5 years ago, he now competes regularly in 4.0/4.5 tournaments and uses the sport as a fundamental element in his class curriculum.
“I like to introduce my PE classes to pickleball as it is easy to learn and provides students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to be active, social and have fun," Brady says.
Brady lives in Berwyn, Pa with his wife Pauline and dog Willy.
Brady played Division I College Ice Hockey at Providence College and was drafted and signed by the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League.

Meghan Thorburn
Meghan is a PPR certified instructor who also teaches group fitness classes. Before coming to fitness full time, she managed corporate fitness for Cigna Corp and Aetna US Healthcare. Besides pickleball, she is certified in personal training, pilates, yoga, Barre and kickboxing.
Meghan works primarily with beginner, advanced beginner, and intermediate students to help them learn the joys of pickleball.
